Mary Jane Sorrell

Mary Jane Sorrell, 65, of Wintersville, Ohio, died on Thursday, May 3, 2007. She was born September 28, 1940, in McKeesport, a daughter of James F. and Louise Yost O'Leary. Mrs. Sorrell was a homemaker and Baptist by faith. She enjoyed caring for her family, crocheting, and crafts. Surviving are a son, Daniel L. (Jamie) Sorrell, Sr., of York; a daughter, Sedona White, of Wintersville, Ohio; one brother, George F. O'Leary, of Mingo Junction, Ohio; three sisters, Jean Stedman of Wheeling, West Virginia, Rose Cramer of Washington, and Nancy Lenarz of Wintersville, with whom she made her home; and three grandchildren, Daniel Sorrell, Jr., James White and Katie White. Deceased are a brother, James F. O'Leary; and a sister, Patricia White. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 7, 2007, with Rev. Michael Tidd officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
