Dena Jones

Dena Jones, 92, of Washington, died Friday, October 31, 2008, in Humbert Lane Personal Care Center. She had been in declining health for the past five years. She was born August 12, 1916, in Ellsworth, a daughter of Vinchenzo and Nunciata Fedance. Mrs. Jones was a member of the Church of the Covenant. She was a homemaker and for many years had worked as a private caregiver for Dr. Robert Lesnock’s children. Her husband, Charles R. Jones, died in May 1984. Surviving are a daughter, Nancy (George) Bernett of Washington, a brother, Albert (Pauline) Fedance of Cokeburg; two grandchildren, Lisa (Butch) McMullen and Christopher (Jennifer) Bernett; and three great-grandchildren, Chelsea McMullen, Madelyn Bernett and Tyler Bernett. Deceased are an infant daughter, Regina; a brother, Floyd Fedance; and three sisters, Inez Fedance, Mary Wasulko and Linda DiMarzio. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, November 3rd, with Pastor Randy Boyer officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
