Bertha Leona Cox, 78, of McDonald, Cecil Township, died Thursday, October 16, 2008, as a result of injuries sustained in a fire.
She was born August 4, 1930, in East Palestine, Ohio, a daughter of Robert Elmont and Helen Dorothy Wood Clark.
Mrs. Cox was a member of Venice Presbyterian Church.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking.
On August 3, 1961, she married Robert E. Cox, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Paul Douglas Stuchell, of Pittsburgh; two daughters, Helen Noreen Acheson, of Midway, and Donna Darlene Hussey, of Nebraska; four brothers, Harry “Don” Clark, of Prosperity, Bill Clark, of Flemington, MO., Richard “Dick” Clark, of Canton, OH. and Dudley Clark, of Nuevo, CA.; four sisters, Linda Darlene Kahlbaugh, of Prosperity, Dorothy Baumgartner, of Washington, Maxine McCombs, of Houston, and Sandra “Peggy” Shriver, of Prosperity; and seven grandchildren, Brian Paul Stuchell, Steven Michael Stuchell, and Victoria Marie Green, all of Pittsburgh, Scott Allen Acheson, Jr., of Midway, Jimmy Lamar, Breezy Darlene Hinkle, and Cory Moriah, of Fremont, Nebraska.
Deceased is a brother, Robert James Clark.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, October 23, 2008, at Upper Buffalo Cemetery, Upper Buffalo, with the Rev. Craig Kephart officiating. Memorial contributions to the family can be made to any Huntington Bank.
