Henry (Gunner) R. Zgorzeliski

Henry R. “Gunner” Zgorzeliski, 59, of Washington, died Sunday, October 19, 2008, in Donnell House, following a lengthy illness. He was born July 1, 1949, in Washington, a son of Mildred English Zgorzeliski of Hendersonville and the late Henry F. Zgorzeliski. Mr. Zgorzeliski was employed as a laborer with A and J Concrete. He was a member of the Slovak Club and enjoyed fishing and playing the guitar. On April 25, 1973, he married Donna Hohn, who survives. Also surviving are three daughters, Darla Zgorzeliski of Prosperity, Debbie Zgorzeliski of Washington and Donna Zgorzeliski of Prosperity; three brothers, Jimmie Zgorzeliski, Leonard Zgorzeliski and Ricky Zgorzeliski, all of Hendersonville; five sisters, Maryann Kunkle of Hendersonville, Sandra Clark and Darlene Africa, both of Canonsburg, Jeanie Wood of Hendersonville and Marlene Winland of Ohio; and seven grandchildren. Deceased is a brother, Ronald Zgorzeliski. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, October 27th, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with Pastor John Janov officiating.
