Ann Kolycheck, 90, of Washington, died Wednesday, September 7, 2005, in Washington Hospital. She had been in declining health for the past two years. She was born June 28, 1915, in Gibsonia, a daughter of Frank and Meri Panchura Hurzon. Mrs. Kolycheck was a homemaker and was Catholic. On August 12, 1934, in St. John Russian Orthodox Church, Canonsburg, she married Ambrose M. Kolycheck, who died January 29, 1974. Surviving are a son, Michael (JoAnn) Kolycheck of Washington; two daughters, Frances (Ray) Davis of Houston and Carole (Jim) Reeves of Washington; four sisters, Mary McNary of Eighty Four, Helen Lutes and Margaret "Slick" Keller, both of Washington, and Sophie Lilley of Norfolk, Va.; three grandchildren, Lisa Bellotti, Leanne Stiltenpole and Kimberly Johnston; and five great-grandchildren, Amber Provance, Kayla Stiltenpole, Zachary Stiltenpole, Cassandra Rae Luisi and Parker Schultz. Deceased are two sisters, Judy Wagner and Mary Hurzon; two brothers, Michael Hurzon and Frankie Hurzon; and a grandson, John Allen Davis.
Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, September 10, in St. Hilary Roman Catholic Church, 320 Henderson Avenue, Washington, with the Rev. Thomas D. O'Neill as celebrant. Burial to follow in Washington Cemetery.
