Pauline Korman

Pauline Korman, 82, of Washington, died Friday, October 3, 2008, in The Washington Hospital. She was born August 14, 1926, in Avella, a daughter of Steve and Mary Dolak Suhay. Mrs. Korman graduated from Avella High School. For 30 years, she worked as a quality control technician for ALCAN, a division of DuPont. Mrs. Korman was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and enjoyed bowling, traveling, and watching QVC. Her husband, Matthew Korman, died in 1963. Surviving are two brothers, Steve J. Suhay of Washington and John Suhay of Pueblo, Colorado; and a sister, Frances Monchak of Pueblo, Colorado. Deceased are three sisters, Anne Hopak, Helen Andrechak Grau and Mary A. Prevuznik.; and a brother, Thomas Suhay. At the request of the deceased, all services will be private. Burial will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, McMurray. William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., is in charge of arrangements.
