Ettie Mayne Clemens Buffington, 80, of Washington, died Sunday, May 16, 2004, in Donnell House, Washington.
She was born April 5, 1924, in Washington, a daughter of Thomas Mayne and Elizabeth Mayne Clemens.
Mrs. Clemens was Protestant and a homemaker.
She was a member of Slovak Club. She enjoyed life, spending time with friends and making crafts.
Prior to residing in Campbell Apartments, Mrs. Clemens made her home with Bill Seibert of Washington.
In September 1944, she married Gaylord Clemens, who died November 17, 1964. She later married George Steiner and Robert Buffington, both of whom are deceased.
Surviving are two sons, Henry and Raymond Clemens, both of Washington; a daughter, Linda Lou Clemens of Washington; three grandchildren, Michele Walker, Scott Clemens and Patrick Chieffalo; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a son, Michael E. Clemens; a brother, Thomas Randolph Mayne; a sister, Catherine Haught; and twin brother and sister, Orval and Iva Mayne, both who died at birth.
