Robert Earl “Moo Moo” Ellis, 73, of Washington, died Tuesday, September 16, 2008, in The Washington Hospital, following a lengthy illness.
He was born June 15, 1935, in Washington, a son of Edgar V. and Olive Dowdle Ellis.
Mr. Ellis was employed for many years in the maintenance department of Famous Supply. He enjoyed working with his hands.
On July 28, 1978, he married Laura E. Heinbeugh, who is deceased.
Also surviving are two sons, Robert A. Urhin Jr. of Washington and Robbie Ellis; a daughter, Beth Ann Bentz of Grindstone; and two grandchildren, Christopher and Brande.
Deceased are three brothers, James Ellis, Sr., Charles Ellis and Vernon Edgar Ellis; and four sisters, Dorothy Ellis, Elizabeth Ellis, Betty Wilson and Thelma McCartney.
Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in William G. Neal Funeral Home, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 20th. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
