Thomas Eugene " Skit " Tarr

Thomas Eugene “ Skit “ Tarr, 71, of Washington, died unexpectedly in his home on Sunday, July 31, 2005. He was born in Washington on August 19, 1933, a son of Edward E. and Agnes Rowe Tarr. Mr. Tarr was retired from Moly Corp. after having worked more than 27 years. He later was self employed and repaired heating and air conditioning units. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and served during the Korean War and was formerly a member of the American Legion Post # 175 in Washington. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and following his grandchildren’s sporting events at Chartiers Houston. For more than twenty years, he and his wife traveled to Walt Disney World in Florida each year as that was another of his joys. On November 26, 1956, he married Norma Jean Ruetschi who survives. Also surviving are a son, Robert Eugene Tarr of Washington; a daughter, Kellye Jean Kimberland of Washington; a brother, John E. Tarr of Claysville, a sister, Agnes “ Sis “ Hepinger of Washington; two grandchildren, Matthew Robert Tarr and Shana Lynn Tarr. At the request of the deceased, no public visitation will be held. A Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 2, 2005, at 1:00 pm in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
