Wanda Lee Cape, 43, of Washington, died Tuesday, January 18, 2005, in Washington Hospital, following a four-year illness.
She was born April 15, 1961, in Washington, a daughter of the late Joseph William and Marguerite Rose Silcott Holub.
Mrs. Cape attended Trinity High School and was manager at Tower Restaurant, Washington, where she had been employed for 20 years.
She was a member of LOOM 22 and enjoyed her cat and decorating.
On November 4, 1991, she married Robert W. Cape, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, David Justin Green, at home; a stepson, Robert W. Cape Jr. of Washington; a stepdaughter, Jessica Jo Dunn of Washington; two brothers, Joseph William Holub Jr. of Washington and Jay D. Silcott of Georgia; three sisters, Brenda Jo Holub, Joy Lynn Hoffman and Dawn Michelle Belcastro, all of Washington; four grandchildren, Abby Dunn, Michael Hoyt Cape, Charles Dakota Filby and Bailey Thomas Cape.
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 22, with Pastor Gary Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to American Cancer Society.
