Lucinda Enoch Foster, 95, of Washington, died at 1:45 a.m. Saturday, January 22, 2005, in Humbert Lane Health Care Center, Washington. She had been in declining health. She was born November 21, 1909, in Washington, a daughter of Emmer B. and Lucia Storer Enoch. She was a member of Third United Presbyterian Church of Washington and Washington Order of Eastern Star Chapter 409 and its affiliates and was a former member of White Shrine. She graduated from Washington High School in 1928 and Washington Business College. She was a secretary at Brockway Glass, retiring in 1973. On July 25, 1942, in Alexandria, Va., she married Theodore Bennett Foster, who died December 15, 1980. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. Deceased are two brothers, Donald Enoch and Lloyd Enoch; and a sister, Eleanore Enoch Inseal.
Public services will be held at noon Tuesday, January 25, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with the Rev. Lesley Shoup officiating. Interment will follow in Washington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial contributions to Third United Presbyterian Church.
