Alan M. Mcpeak

Alan M. McPeak, 93, of Mt. Pleasant Township, died Sunday, February 22, 2004, in Humbert Lane Healthcare Center following a three week illness. He was born on November 18, 1910, in Mt. Pleasant Township, a son of Walter K. and Tressa McDowell McPeak. Mr. McPeak was a Machinist, having retired from Reliance Electric after many years and had also been a lifelong, self-employed farmer. He was a member of the Hickory United Presbyterian Church, was previously a member of the Gretna Grange and later the Buffalo Grange. On December 25, 1935, he married Grace Herron who died on April 14, 2003. Surviving are a son, David A. McPeak of Washington; a grandchild Pamela Carlini; and one great-grandchild. Mr. McPeak is preceded in death by a sister Elizabeth “ Betty “ Johnson. Friends of Alan M. McPeak, 93, who died on Sunday, February 22, 2004, will be received from 7 to 9 PM Tuesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM Wednesday in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, where services will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2004 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Douglas Reinard officiating. Interment will follow in Mt.
