Wilma E. Logsdon, 84, of Washington, died Thursday, February 5, 2004, at
the Washington Hospital. She was born on August 31, 1919 in Washington,
PA, a daughter of Fred and Lillian Donelly Hillberry Sim. Mrs. Logsdon had
been a member of North Buffalo United Presbyterian Church. She was a
sales clerk at the Hearts Home Store. She worked for ten years at
Classic Coachworks with her son. Mrs. Logsdon sang on WNBO radio on
Saturday evenings. On November 19, 1936, she married George Willard
Logsdon, who died on July 24, 2000. Surviving are a son, Fred W.
Logsdon of Washington, PA, a sister, Sally Eustis of Washington, PA ,
four grandchildren, Rebecca Bandi, Robert M. Logsdon, Shawn W. Logsdon
and Kara L. Logsdon; and several great grandchildren. Deceased are five
brothers, Herbert, Charles, Kieth, Norman and Alfred Sim; and a sister,
Lilliam May Sim.
Friends of Wilma E. Logsdon of Washington, who died Thursday, February
5, 2004, will be received from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Sunday in William G. Neal
Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington, PA. , where services
will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, February 9, 2004, with Rev. John Mark
Scott officiating. Interment will follow in Washington Cemetery.
