Catherine M. Maracani

Catherine M. Maracani, 92, of Washington, PA, died on Friday, February 11, 2005, at Hawthorne Woods after a brief illness. She was born on September 5, 1912, in Hazelton, PA, a daughter of Lewis and Mary Petruce Maracani. Ms. Maracani worked as a bookkeeper for R.E. Raccon and later at Raggi Construction, and was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Surviving is a brother, Lewis Maracani of Hazelton, PA; 3 sisters, Martha Ambrose of Pottsville, PA; and Hilda Maracani and Marie O’Patt, both of Washington, PA; and several nieces and nephews; deceased are 3 sisters, Helen Fellin, Frances Ambrose and Doris Colussi. Friends of the family of Catherine M. Maracani, of Washington, PA, who died Friday, February 11, 2005, will be received from 9-10:30 a.m. on Monday, February 11, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. Monday. Burial will at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 15, 2005 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Luzerne County. The family requests memorial donations to be made to Odyssey Hospice or Immaculate Conception Church.
