Alice Louise Cunningham

Alice Louise Cunningham, 83, of Washington, died at 2:30 p.m., Friday, April 6, 2007, in Donnell House. She was born February 17, 1924, in Washington, a daughter of Charles and Mildred Frazier Read. Mrs. Cunningham graduated from Washington High School in January 1942. She was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church and was a homemaker. On June 21, 1947, she married James H. Cunningham, who died July 3, 2004. Surviving are a son, James Phillip Cunningham, of Pierson, FL.; three daughters, Carol Lee Craig, of Carnegie, Mildred Maxine Hovanec, of Cleveland, OH., and Joyce Ann Tyson, of Glenside; a brother, Phillip Read, of Hookstown; seven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Deceased are a brother, Charles Read and a sister, Ruth Simpson. As the request of the deceased, there will be no visitation or services. The family suggests memorial contributions to Donnell House, c/o Hospice Care of the Washington Hospital, 155 Wilson Avenue, Washington, PA 15301.
