Ralph E. Conaway

Ralph E. Conaway, 77, of Washington, died Thursday, December 1, 2005, in The Washington Hospital. He was born April 18, 1928, in Brandonville, West Virginia, a son of Paul and Mary Guthrie Conaway. He worked many years for Washington Feed and more recently for Parkhurst Dining at Washington and Jefferson College. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Lois I. Beabout Conaway, whom he married November 21, 1946. Also surviving are one son, David Conaway of Taylorstown; one daughter, Linda Gallagher and her husband, John, of Peters Township; two sisters, Freda Tanner of Waynesburg and Lou Tukesbrey of King George, Virginia; and four grandchildren, Quentin Conaway of England, Crissy Laush and her husband, Charles, of Castle Shannon, Judy Flick and her husband, Shawn, of Bridgeville, and Renee Stewart and her husband, Jeff, of Raleigh, North Carolina. Deceased is one sister, Emma Grace Conaway. Friends will be received noon to 4 p.m. Sunday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 5, 2005, with Reverend Daniel Hrach officiating. Interment will be private in Prosperity Cemetery.
