Margaretta Darlene (Peg) Hower, 60, of Washington, died at 8:40 p.m. Wednesday, February 16, 2005, in Donnell House, Washington. She was born August 8, 1944, in Washington, a daughter of Opal Day Hower Mollenauer of Washington and the late Stanley Hower.
Ms. Hower was a 1962 graduate of Chartiers-Houston High School. She was employed as a stocker at Wal-Mart and had been employed at the former Dog House Restaurant in Washington. She enjoyed her grandchildren. Ms. Hower had been married to Donald Greer and Edward Zimmerman, both of whom are deceased. Surviving, in addition to her mother, are two sons, Donald W. and James L. Greer, both of Washington; a daughter, Darlene G. Price of Washington; a brother, Stanley "Butch" Hower of North Charleston, S.C.; a stepbrother, Elmer (Billy) Mollenauer of Warren, Ohio; a sister, Audrey Rotunda of Washington; five grandchildren, Syree Lawhorne, Cody Greer, Brianna Senick, Logan Price and Keely Greer. Deceased are a son, Shawn Patrick Greer; and a sister, Rebecca Hower.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
