Jacob Bradley Powell, 23, of Washington, died Thursday, October 16, 2008, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born March 8, 1985, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, a son of Thomas Edward Powell Jr. and Lisa Mae Chase, both of Washington.
Mr. Powell attended McGuffey Schools and was a roofer for J.L. Miller Roofing Co.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, horseback riding, all outdoor activities and gardening.
Mr. Powell was Protestant.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his fiancée, Cherie D. Bonus; a daughter, Kira Mae Powell; a brother, Nicholas Kyle Powell of Washington; a sister, Angela Christine Powell, of Washington; nephew, Aiden James Harris; and a niece, Alexis Joelle Harris.
Friends will be received 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, October 20th, with Rev. Hugh Wallace officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
