Jean H. Graff, 78, of Washington, died at 1 a.m. Thursday, January 13, 2005, in Humbert Lane Health Care, Washington. She was born May 17, 1926, in Washington, a daughter of Frank and Rowena Bebout Haught. Mrs. Graff was a graduate of Trinity High School in 1943. She had been a packer at Hazel-Atlas Glas Plant 1 and was employed as a clerk at G.C. Murphy for more than 10 years. In August 1950, she married Phillip Graff, who died in 1959. Surviving are a daughter, Amy S. Paul of Waynesburg; three grandchildren, Courtney Ackman Schroyer, Jenny Ackman and Morgan Paul; and a great-granddaughter, Loren Grace Schroyer. Deceased are two brothers, Robert and Frank Haught.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no visitation or services. The family suggests memorial contributions to Wilma S. Paul Memorial Scholarship, in care of Kevin Paul, Administrator, 557 Ross Street, Waynesburg, PA 15370, or the charity of one's choice. Arrangements are under the direction of William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
