Angeline Ferralli Costello

Angeline Ferralli Costello, 97, of Washington, died at 7:15 AM on Friday, February 6, 2004 at Southmont of Presbyterian Senior Care. She was born on February 19, 1906 in Bruceton, PA, a daughter of John and Mary Chiarelli Ferralli. Mrs. Costello was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church and the American Association of Retired Persons. She attended school in both Bruceton and Washington. Angeline was a gentle inspiration to each succeeding generation of her family. Domenic Costello, her husband, died January 7, 1932. Surviving are two daughters, Isabel M. Phillips and Rose E. Shanks, both of Washington; a grandchild, Amanda S. McConnell and a great-grandchild; two sisters, Vera Jean Piacenza and Jennie M. Ferralli, both of Washington; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Costello is preceded in death by three brothers, Albert, John J. and Domenic Ferralli; two sisters, Rose Rugiero and Helen Bellotti. Friends of Angeline Ferralli Costello, of Washington, will be received from 12 noon to 4 PM on Sunday in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 9, 2004 at 9:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church. Interment will follow in Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery.
