Secretary for area automobile dealers
Judith Ann Semple Clemens, 55, of Washington, died at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 26, 2005, in her residence. She had been ill since May 2004.
She was born October 29, 1949, in Oil City, a daughter of Donald Wareham and Anna Bertha Klinko Semple.
Mrs. Clemens graduated from Trinity High School in 1967.
She was a secretary for many area businesses, including Tomsic Motors, Darr Oldsmobile, Bill Kelley Oldsmobile and Toyota of Washington. She also worked for Town & Country Market for 10 years and Isaly's for two years.
On December 16, 1972, she married Henry Clemens, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Scott (Tina) Clemens of Washington; a daughter, Michele Clemens (Mark) Walker of Washington; three brothers, Michael and Ronald Semple, both of Washington, and Theo Semple of Canonsburg; a sister, Cheryl Bauer of Washington; a brother-in-law, Raymond Clemens of Washington; a sister-in-law, Linda Clemens Chieffalo of Washington; two grandchildren, Sarah Walker and Scott Clemens; her stepfather, Dean Lazear of Washington; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and various relatives in Pittsburgh and Oil City.
Friends were received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and will be received from noon to 9 p.m. Thursday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 29, with the Rev. Ron Rice officiating. Burial will follow in North Buffalo Cemetery.
