Janet E. Grimm, 77, of Washington, died Thursday, July 24, 2008, in her home following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Washington on June 23, 1931, a daughter of Charles Dorsey and Emma Hughes Morris. She had attended Washington Schools and worked for more than twenty years at the Brownson House through the Easter Seals Society.
Mrs. Grimm was a member of the Jefferson Avenue United Methodist Church.
On March 29, 1956, she married Clyde M. Grimm, who died on September 19, 1999.
Surviving are, a daughter Cindy ( Michael ) Crile of Washington; three brothers, Pete ( LaGene) Morris of Washington, Charles � Sonny � ( Dottie ) Morris of Houston, Dean ( Penny ) Morris of Radcliff, Kentucky; Marjorie ( Joel ) Lease of Washington; two grandchildren, Michael Crile, and Megan ( Brian ) Bell; and three great-grandchildren, Gavin Joseph Bell, Laney Jane Bell, and Joey Lauren Bell.
Preceding her in death are brothers, Frank � Hoagie � and Buck Morris; and a sister Sara Martin.
Friends of Janet E. Grimm, 77, of Washington, who died Thursday, July 24, 2008, will be received on Saturday, July 26, 2008, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7:30 PM, the time of services, in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Memorial Donations may be made to the Washington Hospital Hospice in her memory.
