Douglas Robert Knox

Douglas R. Knox, 45, of Claysville, died unexpectedly in Erie, Pennsylvania, on Monday, July 26, 2004. He was born in Washington on October 30, 1958, a son of William and Zoe Kern Knox of Washington. Mr. Knox was a graduate of Washington High School and had worked as an operator at Washington Penn Plastics for the past thirteen years. He enjoyed yard work, gardening and spending time at the beach. On February 23, 1997, he married Tammy Patterson who survives. Also surviving are five daughters, Brittany and Brienn Knox, both at home, Beth Ann Knox of Oregon, Lisa and Kristi Knox, both of Washington; four brothers, William Knox of Library, David Knox of Alabama. Stephen Knox of Richeyville, and Jeffrey Knox of Haddonfield, New Jersey. Preceding Mr. Knox in death is a sister Sherri Knox. Friends of Douglas R. Knox, 45, of Claysville, will be received on Thursday from 7 to 9 pm and on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2004, at 11:00 am, Rev. Meade Lacock officiating.
