Edmund Joseph Jackson, 64, of Canonsburg, died unexpectedly, Thursday, September 4, 2008, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.
He was born October 16, 1943, in Martins Ferry, Ohio, a son of the late Edmund and Dorothy Jackson.
After graduating from high School, Mr. Jackson attended Point Park College for two years.
He worked as a driver for Vanguard Car Rentals for 25 years.
Mr. Jackson enjoyed boxing and bodybuilding, winning many weight-lifting competitions in Pennsylvania and Ohio.
He was Methodist.
On April 4, 1970, he married Linda Louise Cassels, who survives.
Also surviving is a son, Nicholas A. Jackson of Canonsburg.
Deceased is a sister, Annlee Watts.
Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, September 8, 2008. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
