Margaret L. Kovalcik

Washington woman member of St. Hilary Church Margaret L. Kovalcik, 83, of Washington, died at 4:12 p.m. Wednesday, December 31, 2003, in Washington Hospital following a brief illness. She was born June 10, 1920, in Tower Hill No. 2, Fayette County, a daughter of Joseph and Dora Dudash. Mrs. Kovalcik was a member of St. Hilary Roman Catholic Church and its Christian Mothers and had been very active in church activities as long as her health permitted. She was employed at Hazel-Atlas Glass Plant No. 2 and Metro Glass. On November 12, 1945, she married Steve Kovalcik, who survives. Also surviving are a sister, Sophia Ducar of Allison; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are two sisters, Mary and Anna; and seven brothers, John, Joseph, Andrew, Steve, Paul, Adam and Jack Dudash. KOVALCIK - Friends of Margaret L. Kovalcik of Washington, who died Wednesday, December 31, 2003, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 3, in St. Hilary Roman Catholic Church, Washington, with the Rev. Thomas D. O'Neil as celebrant. Interment will follow in West Middletown Cemetery.
