Rodney Lee McClung, Jr., 23, of Washington, died Monday, September 1, 2008.
He was born February 16, 1985, in Pittsburgh, a son of Rodney Lee McClung, Sr. of Washington and Jacquelyn Clark of the state of California.
Mr. McClung attended Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Canonsburg and was employed in retail sales.
His passion was music, which he composed for himself and others.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are three brothers, William McClung of Pittsburgh, Daniel Clark of San Diego, California, and Christiaan McClung of Pittsburgh; three sisters, Alisha McClung of Atlanta, Georgia, Linda McClung of Pittsburgh, Desiree Clark of San Diego, California; paternal grandmother, Linda B. Smith of Atlanta, Georgia; and paternal grandfather, Richard McClung, Sr.
Friends will be received 4 to 9 p.m. Friday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 6th, in Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Canonsburg, with Rev. Lance B. Whitlock officiating. Burial will follow in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park, 14679 Route 30, North Huntingdon, PA 15642.
