Anne Tender

Member of St. Hilary Church Anne Tender, 80, of Washington, died at 6:10 p.m. Sunday, December 14, 2003, in Donnell House, Washington, following a two-year illness. She was born October 20, 1923, in Weaver, a daughter of Charles and Sophia Barchi Skeryo. Mrs. Tender was a homemaker and a member of St. Hilary Church in Washington. She was a member of Greek Catholic Union, Senior Citizens of Washington and Retired Persons of Washington County. On June 30, 1956, she married Frank Walter Tender, who died in June 2000. Surviving are a stepson, Francis W. Tender of Hebron, Ohio; a son, John Tender, at home; a daughter, Dianne J. Cox of Washington; two brothers, Charles and John Skeryo, both of Parma Heights, Ohio; four sisters, Marge Skeryo of Bethel Park, Helen Karpoff of North Versailles, Julie Tomasello of St. Clair Shores, Mich., and Mary Shanta of Pottstown; and three grandchildren, Floyd Thompson Jr., Anthony Cox Jr. and Alyssa Cox. A sister, Sophia Sadvary, is deceased.
