Jean Marie Kovalcik

Member North Buffalo Presbyterian Church. Jean Marie Kovalcik, 79, of Washington, died Thursday, March 17, 2005 at The Washington Hospital following a one-month illness. She was born April 18, 1925, in Washington, a daughter of George and Lauretta Buchanan Wilhelm. She was a graduate of Trinity High School. Mrs. Kovalcik was a homemaker and member of North Buffalo Presbyterian Church. Her husband, Joe Kovalcik died in 1980. Surviving are one son, Rick Kovalcik, Avella; two sisters, Gladys Anderson and Sarah Brownlee, both of West Middletown; two grandchildren, Joe and Erica Kovalcik; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, March 21, 2005, with Pastor Gary Gibson officiating.
