Jean Marie Kovalcik

April 18, 1925 — March 17, 2005

Member North Buffalo Presbyterian Church. Jean Marie Kovalcik, 79, of Washington, died Thursday, March 17, 2005 at The Washington Hospital following a one-month illness. She was born April 18, 1925, in Washington, a daughter of George and Lauretta Buchanan Wilhelm. She was a graduate of Trinity High School. Mrs. Kovalcik was a homemaker and member of North Buffalo Presbyterian Church. Her husband, Joe Kovalcik died in 1980. Surviving are one son, Rick Kovalcik, Avella; two sisters, Gladys Anderson and Sarah Brownlee, both of West Middletown; two grandchildren, Joe and Erica Kovalcik; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, March 21, 2005, with Pastor Gary Gibson officiating. Burial to follow in West Middletown Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to North Buffalo Presbyterian Church, 711 Rural Valley Road, Washington, PA 15301.
