Hazel Marie Hageter

Hazel Marie Hageter, 76, of Washington, died at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2005, in Presbyterian Senior Care, Washington, following a lengthy illness. She was born March 25, 1929, in Baggaley, a daughter of Michael Edward and Arden Smith Garrity. Mrs. Hageter was a graduate of Latrobe High School and a homemaker. On October 26, 1956, she married Robert Hageter, who survives. Also surviving are a sister, Betty (Nathan) Vincent of the state of California; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are three sisters, Emma Schober, Gladys Small and Ida Mae Garrity; and four brothers, Thomas, John, Calvin and James Garrity. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Additional visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until noon, the hour of service, Saturday, April 2, in Unity Cemetery Chapel, Latrobe, with Pastor Gary Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in Unity Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
