Georgia Dale Alexander

Washington homemaker. Georgia Dale Alexander, 78, of Washington, died Monday, March 28, 2005, in UPMC-Shadyside hospital, Pittsburgh, following a brief illness. She was born March 7, 1927, a daughter of Noah Raymond and Florence Kendall Hawkins. Mrs. Alexander was a homemaker. On September 12, 1943, she married Albert Lee Alexander, who died February 28, 1968. Surviving are two daughters, Debra (Donald) Ward of McDonald and Sheila (David) Signorini of Washington; a brother, Lloyd Hawkins of Baltimore, Md.; and three grandchildren, Melissa Signorini, Tiffany Signorini and Elyse Ward. Deceased are a son, Ronald Lee Alexander, who died February 23, 1995; and a daughter, Diana Dale Alexander. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 395 East Maiden Street, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, April 1, with Pastor Craig Kephart officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Shepherd Wellness Center.
