Jack Edward Taylor. 76, of Washington, died Sunday. June 8, 2008, following a lengthy illness.
He was born on May 16, 1932, in Canton Township, a son of Perry and Ann Wiecheck Taylor.
Upon graduation from high school, he served in the United States Army. He later completed the Dale Carnegie Course and the American Banking Institute Course. Being a retired local businessman, he co-founded Tim’s Carwash & Detail Shop in Canonsburg with his son.
He was a member of L.O.O.M.E. # 22 of Washington, enjoyed billiards, playing cards, fishing, and the outdoors.
His wife, Shirley Ann Johnson Taylor survives. Also surviving are four sons, Curtis M. ( Joyce ) Taylor, Jeffery S. Taylor, and Brent ( Vickie ) Taylor, all of Washington, and Timothy V. Taylor, of Canonsburg; a daughter Cindy M. Kerr of Washington; Three grandchildren, Nathan R. Kerr, Nicole M. and Michelle A. Taylor; and one great-grandchild, Faith N. McCartney.
Friends Jack Edward Taylor. 76, of Washington, who died Sunday, June 8, 2008, will be received on Tuesday, from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 PM, the time of services, in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, ltd., 395 East Maiden Street. Burial will be private and held at a later date in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil.
