Clara Almedia Greene, 88, of Washington, died Wednesday, June 18, 2008, in her residence.
She was born November 14, 1919, in Washington, a daughter of Roy and Evelyn Baumgardner Cummings.
Mrs. Greene owned New York Café in downtown Washington.
She enjoyed crafts and making baby dolls and was a former member of LOOM, where she had played dart ball.
Mrs. Greene was Protestant.
Surviving are a son, Glenn Warrington of Pensacola, Fla.; two daughters, Shirley Bertus of Hawaii and Janet Plutch of Washington; 11 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
She will be sadly missed by her pet poodle, Pretty Boy.
Deceased are her husbands, Fred Morosky and Raymond Greene; and a brother, Edward Cummings.
Friends will be received from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 21, with Pastor Domenick Sgro officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
