Margaret Calcutt King, 72, of Washington, died Tuesday, August 19, 2008, in Donnell House following a brief illness.
She was born May 16, 1936, in Washington, a daughter of George Frederick and Winona Irene Canan Calcutt.
Mrs. King was a graduate of Trinity High School and attended Penn Commercial.
She worked as a loan clerk at National City Bank for many years.
Mrs. King was a member Fourth Presbyterian Church and Eastern Star and many civic, social and church organizations.
On May 24, 1986, she married James R. King, who survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Cindy Bush of Washington, Jacqueline Smith of Upper St. Clair, and Kristy (Sean) Terling of Washington; three grandchildren, Eric Keith, Austin Keith and Spencer Terling.
Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 2:00p.m. Thursday, August 21, 2008, with Rev. Dr. Susan VandeKappelle officiating. Washington Chapter #409 of Eastern Star will hold a memorial service at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
