Thomas (Roy) Wilson, 82, of Washington, died at 11:40 a.m. Monday, March 28, 2005, in Washington Hospital, following a brief illness.
He was born July 26, 1922, in Washington, a son of Alexander Agnew and Estella Winnie Fetherlin Wilson.
Mr. Wilson attended Washington schools and worked as a farmer, drove a truck for Al Holish and had been employed by McGinley Maintenance.
He was a member of Independent Club.
On September 1, 1951, he married Jane Louise Blankinsop, who died in 1983.
Surviving are a son, Thomas R. Wilson Jr. of the Netherlands; three daughters, Rebecca Jane Couture of California, Estella Louise Bell of Texas and Jeanne Lorraine Thomas of Wellsburg, W.Va.; three sisters, Dorothy Stienstraw and Mildred Johns, both of Washington, and Shirley Jenkins of Cleveland, Ohio; four grandchildren, Stacy Carroll of Texas, William Loar of Washington and Kristen and Lorraine Wilson, both of Virginia; and two great-grandchildren, Matthew and Madison.
Deceased are four brothers, Clarence, George, John and Paul Wilson; and two sisters, Helen and Mary.
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, April 1, with Philip Couture, minister, officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
