Linda Darlene Kosek Garrett

Ceramic teacher at Thomas Campbell Apartments Linda Darlene Kosek Garrett, 59, of Washington, died at 3:45 p.m. Thursday, August 22, 2002, in her home, following a lengthy illness. She was born July 20, 1943, in Washington, a daughter of Goldie Woods Mounts Taylor of Washington and the late Harold Mounts. Mrs. Garrett attended Washington High School. She was a member of West Washington Methodist Church. Mrs. Garrett had been employed by Thomas Campbell Apartments as a ceramic teacher and many years ago was employed by Brockway Glass Plant No. 1. On June 10, 1988, she married David Scott Garrett, who survives. Also surviving are a son, John Leonard Kosek Jr. of Washington; two daughters, Robin Dunn of Washington and Leanna Conte of Washington; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Deceased are a daughter, Tammy Joy Kosek; and a brother, Edward Mounts. At the request of the deceased, there will be no public visitation. Funeral services will be private.
