J. Lenore Fisher, 74, of Washington, died at 5 a.m. Friday, August 23, 2002, in Washington Hospital, following a one-month illness.
She was born June 19, 1928, in Hickory, a daughter of Leonard Eugene and Gwendolyn Conkle Neil.
Mrs. Fisher attended Washington High School and was a homemaker.
She was a member of Fourth Presbyterian Church, Washington, and its Ladies Aid Society and a member of Daughters of the American Revolution.
Surviving are two daughters, Beverly N. Nelson of Douglas, Mass., and Lisa A. Fisher of Washington; two sisters, Mary Edna Thomas of Washington and Myrtle Violet McDowell of Canonsburg; a grandson, William D. Nelson Jr.; and a great-grandson.
Deceased are a brother, Wilford C. Neil; and two sisters, Ruth Ogden and Betty Yancosek.
FISHER - Friends of J. Lenore Fisher of Washington, who died Friday, August 23, 2002, are invited to a memorial service at 7 p.m. Monday, August 26, in Fourth Presbyterian Church, Washington, with the Rev. Dr. Susan VandeKappelle officiating. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation. Arrangements are by William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
