Performance Products foreman enjoyed country music
William Henry (Bill) Murray, 49, of Washington, died Saturday, June 14, 2008, in Canonsburg General Hospital emergency room, after becoming ill at work.
He was born April 18, 1959, in Washington, a son of Betty E. Knox Murray of Washington and the late Clyde R. Murray.
Mr. Murray graduated from Chartiers-Houston High School in 1977 and was a member of Friendship Community Church.
He was employed as a foreman at Performance Products in Eighty Four for 20 years and formerly worked at Brockway Glass until it closed.
Mr. Murray was a hard worker and an avid hunter, fisherman and trapper. He liked country music, especially Martina McBride.
On September 14, 1996, he married Kathryn Kiskadden, who survives.
Also surviving are three brothers, Clyde R. (Judy) Murray of Erie, Larry W. (Karen) Murray of Sycamore and Charles L. Murray of Atlasburg; two sisters, Sherry Ridgway of Pittsburgh and Darla J. (Michael) McCauley of Washington; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to his father, is a sister, Judy L. Murray.
Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 17, with Pastor Rick Bruckner officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
