A. Warren Plymire Ball Glass mold maker A. Warren Plymire, 78, of Rogers, Ark., formerly of Sara Drive, Washington, died Wednesday, September 4, 2002, in Concordia Care Center, Arkansas. He was born November 4, 1923, in Washington, a son of Alvan and Mary Hartman Plymire. Mr. Plymire was employed for 42 years by Ball Glass as a mold maker. He was a member of Laboratory Presbyterian Church. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Army with the 322nd Medical Battalion in Central Europe and the Pacific Theater, where he received the American Theater Ribbon, European-American-Middle Eastern Ribbon with one bronze star, Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Theater Ribbon and the Victory Medal. On June 3, 1950, he married Barbara Primm, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Lawrence Plymire of Cooperstown; a daughter, Sherry White of Rogers; two brothers, Albert Plymire of Pittsburgh and Joseph Plymire of Buffalo; and four grandchildren, Matthew and Brandon White, Jordyn Plymire and Jenna Fulkerson. Deceased are five sisters, Ruth Edgar, Garnet Jural, Mary Edna Matlock, Goldie Mossner and Iva Eitner; and a brother, Boyd Plymire. PLYMIRE - Friends of A. Warren Plymire of Rogers, Ark., formerly of Sara Drive, Washington, who died Wednesday, September 4, 2002, will be received from 1 to 3 p.m., the hour of service, Saturday, September 7, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with the Rev. David A. Stammerjohn officiating. Interment will be in Washington Cemetery.
