Paul R. Roth, 28, of Pittsburgh, died Monday, February 25, 2008, in Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh, following a brief illness.
He was born July 16, 1979, in Washington, a son of Neal E. and Janice M. Dornan Roth of McMurray.
Mr. Roth was a graduate of Peters Township High School and a 2002 graduate of Penn State. At the time of his death, he was enrolled in the MBA program at Carnegie-Mellon University and a member of the Carnegie-Mellon Tepper School of Business Student Association.
Mr. Roth was employed by Carnegie-Mellon University as a computer engineer.
He enjoyed hockey, electronics, and reading. Mr. Roth was a Penn State and Steelers fan and also enjoyed Indy car racing.
He was a member of Chartiers Crossroads Presbyterian Church.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his grandmother, Alta Dornan,of Washington; a brother, Neal Roth of Canonsburg; an uncle, Robert Dornan of Washington; and several cousins.
Friends will be received 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 1st, with Rev. Barry Sweet officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Prospect Cemetery, Hickory.
