Washington homemaker
Anna Bertha Semple, 77, of Washington, died at 9:15 p.m. Monday, December 1, 2003, in her home, following a brief illness.
She was born September 8, 1926, in Oil City, a daughter of Joseph and Mary Receik Klinko.
Mrs. Semple was a homemaker and loved dogs.
Her first husband, Donald Wareham Semple, died July 30, 1966.
Her second husband, Dean Martine Lazear, survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Theodore Semple of Canonsburg and Michael and Ronald Semple, both of Washington; two daughters, Judith Semple Clemens and Cheryl Semple Bauer, both of Washington; two bothers, Jim Klinko of Las Vegas, Nev., and John Klinko of Buffalo, N.Y.; a sister, Irene Klinko Monroe of Pittsburgh; 11 grandchildren, Vicki Riggle, Brigette Semple Smutney, Michele Clemens Walker, Scott Clemens, Stacy Bauer and Michael Jr., Kristina, Nathan, Kylie, Connor and Preston Semple; and seven great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers, Billy Klinko and Ed (Julius) Klinko; and four sisters, Edith Thorpe, Mary Bowers, Rose Klinko and Susie K. Leavitt.
