Meadows horse owner from Canonsburg
Ann Elizabeth Waugh, 67, of Canonsburg, died at 2:25 p.m. Monday, January 19, 2004, in Washington Hospital, following a lengthy illness.
She was born August 5, 1936, in Washington, a daughter of the late Peter and Mary Maceyko Golna.
Mrs. Waugh was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Canonsburg.
She was employed by Tygart Valley Glass for 12 years as a packer-selector.
She owned a horse at the Meadows and was a member of Meadows Horse Association,
Mrs. Waugh attended Washington schools and was a member of National Slovak Association.
She was a bird lover and enjoyed all animals and gardening.
On November 5, 1967, she married Lenford D. "Bucky" Waugh, who survives.
Also surviving are a brother, John Golna of Washington; three sisters, Margaret Yater Welch of Moosup, Conn., Veronica Boone of Oakdale and Carolyn Zoeller of Claysville; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are two brothers, William and George Golna; two sisters, Mary Spanogle and Helen Golna; and two nieces.
