Sadie Angeline Myers, 69, of Washington died on Wednesday, October 22, 2003 ib the Washington Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was born in Washington on February 11, 1934 a daughter of Loring Lonzo and Anna May Wheeler Medlen. Mrs. Myers had attended Washington Schools, worked as a waitress at Elby’s and had also worked as a Home Healthcare Worker in the area. She was a member of Jehovah’s Witnesses Kingdom Hall in Washington. On August 6, 1993 she married Curtis Olin Myers who survives. Also surviving are three sons, Ronald R. Stiltenpole of Scranton, John G. and Jeffrey L. Stiltenpole both of Washington; a daughter Roberta A. Kalb of Washington; four brothers, Jim Medlen of McConnell’s Mills, LeRoy Medlen of Sandusky, Ohio, Kenneth Medlen of Illinois and Harold Medlen of Ohio; four sisters, Elmay McViehl of Washington, Bernice Montgomery of Prosperity, Barbara Wood of Pittsburgh and Pearl Hutter of Washington; and eight grandchildren. Preceding her in death are three brothers, Loring Lonzo Medlen, Jr., Melvin Lee Medlen, and Albert Medlen; and two sisters, Alice Carpenter and Mary Hall. Friends of Sadie Angeline Myers, of Washington who died Wednesday, October 22, 2003, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM Friday in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2003, at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in North Buffalo Church Cemetery.
