James Edward Locq

September 16, 1942 — October 17, 2003

James Edward Locq, 61, of Washington, died Friday, October 17, 2003 in his home following a lengthy illness. He was born in Pittsburgh on September 16, 1942 a son of the late James and Martha Ayres Locq. Mr. Locq was a 1960 graduate of Fort Cherry High School and had worked for many years at Weirton Steel Corporation and as a volunteer for the Pennsylvania Game Commission. He was Presbyterian by faith. He enjoyed Hunting, Fishing, the outdoors and was a member of NRA, North American Hunting Club, as well as AARP. Surviving is a sister, Sandra Cowden of Wheeling. Friends of James Edward Locq of Washington who died on October 17, 2003, will be received on Monday from 4 to 7 PM the time of services in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family in Mt. Prospect Cemetery.
