Neva Suzanna “ Sue” Donaldson, 60, of Virginia Beach, formerly of Washington, died Tuesday, September 30, 2003 in her home following a courageous battle against Emphysema and Cancer. She was born in Washington on September 19, 1943 a daughter of the late William Floyd and Gladys Chase Anderson. She was a waitress, having worked at G.C. Murphy’s Snack Counter, Washington Restaurant, and later for seven years at Eat’n Park prior to leaving the area. She enjoyed ceramics and bowling having been a member of the Four Season League at the Alpine Lanes.
She is survived by two daughters, Katherine Duntz of Washington and Neva “ Chris “ Crews with whom she made her home in Virginia Beach; a brother Butch Anderson of Missouri; a sister JoAnn Hall of Ohio; grandchildren Bryan, Brandon, and Kayla Bell; Christopher, Shawn, and Amber Crews; Nicholas and William Gauck, and Zachary Ryan, as well as one great-grandchild.
Preceding her in death are two brothers, Harry L. and James Anderson.
Friends of Neva Suzanna “ Sue “ Donaldson, formerly of Washington who died on Tuesday, September 30 in Virginia Beach, Virginia, will be received from 7 to 9 PM on both Thursday and Friday in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2003 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Joseph Schiren officiating. Interment will follow in Washington Cemetery. The family requests memorial donations be made to the charity of donors choice.
