Thelma Elizabeth Crunick, 88, of Washington, died Wednesday, January 5, 2005, in the Washington Hospital. She was born in Kittanning, on July 11, 1916, a daughter of Berton and Mary Jane Fox Marshall. She was a home maker and enjoyed playing bingo.
Mrs. Crunick was a member of the Church of the Covenant.
On March 9, 1938, she married John J. Crunick, who died on March 9, 1995.
Surviving are a son, John B. Crunick of Washington; a daughter, Mary Jane Crunick of Washington; a sister Mabel Fink of Florida; two grandchildren, John B. and David F. Crunick; and four great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by five brothers, Vern, Chuck, Stanley, Truman, and Thomas Marshall; and a sister, Alene Remaley.
Friends of Thelma Elizabeth Crunick, 88, of Washington, who died Wednesday, January 5, 2005, will be received on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, where services will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2005, at 11:00 am, Rev. Ben Scott officiating. Interment will follow in Washington Cemetery.
