Jeffrey Allan Crompton, 41, of Washington, died suddenly on September 22, 2003, in the Washington Hospital Emergency Room. He was born in Washington on June 7, 1962, a son of the late George B. “ Bunny “ Crompton and Gladys Clark Crompton of Washington. Mr. Crompton was a graduate of Trinity High School, and a member of the Church of the Covenant in Washington. He was an Auto Mechanic having worked the last seven years at Pryor’s Auto Service. He enjoyed Golf, was a longtime member of the Washington County Pool League, and a member of the Jessop Club. Mr. Crompton was an avid Mopar Enthusiast.
On June 27, 2002 he married Dona Brown who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Jeffrey Owen Crompton and Mark Anthony Crompton, both at home; a step-daughter Autumn Jacobs also at home; a sister Lory Ann Jenkins of Montara, California.
Friends of Jeffrey Allan Crompton, of Washington will be from 7 to 9 Tuesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM Wednesday in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, PA where services will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2003 at 1:00 PM with the Rev. Thomas Hamilton officiating. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
