William R. Keeney, 49, of Scenery Hill, died at 10:33 p.m. Tuesday, August 26, 2003, in Washington, Hospital, as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
He was born December 16, 1953, in Washington, a son of the late Ralph Keeney and Maurine Jenkins Keeney Braun.
Mr. Keeney was a member of Mt. Morris Gospel Tabernacle.
He was a graduate of Canon-McMillan High School and owned Zarcon Bezalel Group, a general contracting firm.
On June 2, 1973, he married Debra Noble, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Michael Keeney of Scenery Hill; three daughters, Laurie Courtney and Rebekah and Lacey Keeney, all of Scenery Hill; two sisters, Judith Reese of Washington and Rebecca Weerkamp of Fredericktown; and two grandchildren, Noah Elijah and Jonas Emmanuel Courtney.
KEENEY - Friends of William R. Keeney of Scenery Hill, who died Tuesday, August 26, 2003, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. until 10 a.m., the hour of services, Saturday, August 30, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 395 East Maiden Street, Washington, with the Rev. Fred Tomlinson officiating. Burial will follow in North Ten Mile Cemetery.
