David M. Henderson, 59, of Claysville, died at 12:25 p.m. Monday, January 3, 2005, in Donnell House, Washington. He had been ill since October.
He was born October 2, 1945, in Washington, a son of the late Kelsey F. and Mary Katherine McMasters Henderson.
Mr. Henderson attended Trinity Area schools. He was employed by Federal Paper and William Martin Refuse and was involved in construction for the last several years.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors.
On May 19, 1970, he married Patsy D. Parkinson, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, David M. Henderson of Claysville and Charlie F. Henderson of Washington; four daughters, Linda Patton (John) and Bobbie Jo (John) McMasters, both of Claysville, Tricia (James) Marshall of Surprise, Ariz., and Rosalee Miller of Washington; a brother, Kelsey F. Henderson Jr. of Washington; two sisters, Inez Hixenbaugh of Claysville and Linda Hunter of Washington; an uncle, Kenneth McMasters of Claysville; an aunt, Verina Bennett of Claysville; 18 grandchildren; a great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a brother, John Henderson, and a sister, Betty Green.
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, January 6. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
