Hazel Ruth Yoders

Hazel Ruth Calvert Yoders, 85, of Washington, died Friday, January 25, 2008, in Washington County Health Center, following a lengthy illness. She was born April 16, 1922, in Washington County, a daughter of Amos Gilmore and Ida Caroline Wright Calvert. Mrs. Yoders was a clerk at Krencey�s Bakery for eighteen years. She enjoyed her grandchildren, bowling, and flowers. On October 31, 1938, in Cumberland, Maryland, she married Charles L. Yoders, who died November 14, 2003. Surviving are two sons, Charles (Judith) Yoders and Jerald W. (Jill) Yoders, both of Washington; two daughters, Diane (Danny) Rose, of Washington, and Patricia L. David, of Finleyville; fourteen grandchildren, Kay, Mark, Lori, Ann, Scott, Chris, Gretchen, Brian, Tammy, Dana, Shawn, Joseph, Theresa and David; two adopted grandchildren, Betty Jo and Cathy; twenty six great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Monday, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 29, 2008, with Pastor Gary Gibson officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens Cemetery, McMurray.
