Lois Ann Armstrong Ball, 70, of Eighty-Four, died Thursday, January 24, 2008, in her home, following a one-year illness.
She was born March 22, 1937, in Washington, a daughter of Robert Earl and Garnet Noble Armstrong.
Mrs. Ball was a homemaker and member of Emmanuel Presbyterian Church, Eighty-Four.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, playing bingo, and going to the casino.
On August 19, 1956, she married Charles William Ball, Sr., who died December 21, 2003.
Surviving are two sons, Charles William (Janet) Ball, Jr. of Scenery Hill and Richard Wayne (Janice) Ball of West Mifflin; one daughter, Donna Jean (Don) Comfort of Eighty-Four; two brothers, Robert Lee Armstrong of Cleveland, Ohio, and Wayne Armstrong of Washington; five grandchildren, Denise, Deanna, Jason, Clayton, Charlie and Tyler; and three great-grandchildren, Coty, C.J. and J.J.
Deceased are a son, David Earl Ball; and a brother, Carl Edward Armstrong, Sr.
Friends will be received 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd. 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, January 28, 2008, with Rev. Susan VandeKappelle officiating. Burial will follow in Emmanuel Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Eighty-Four.
